利用非弹性中子散射研究了二维笼目材料YCu3(OD)6Br2[(Br0.33(OH)0.67]的自旋激发，发现其低能自旋激发呈现出锥形的连续谱，与狄拉克量子自旋液体的图像一致，从而给出了狄拉克自旋子存在的谱学证据。 这一结果已经在线发表在Nature Physics上。

利用极化中子散射研究了铁基超导体CaK(Fe_0.96Ni_0.04)₄As₄中的自旋激发，发现在自旋涡旋序状态下，其低能自旋涨落以c方向为主，尤其是超导态下的中子自旋共振峰有明显的c方向极化行为。该研究表明，不论磁性基态是何种构型，其共振模均具备c方向优先的普遍特征，表明铁基超导电子配对可能有轨道选择倾向。这一工作发表于 Phys. Rev. Lett. 128, 137003 (2022) ，并被选为Editor's Suggestion。Physics 杂志在Synopsis栏目发表了题为“Spin Fluctuations May Drive Iron-Based Superconductivity”的专题科普报道。

利用中子衍射和μSR研究了Sr₂CuTe_1-xW_xO₆体系的磁有序和极低低能磁激发。发现在x=0中的Neel型长程反铁磁序仅需3%的W掺杂即被抑制，但短程磁关联仍然存在，且仍为Neel型的。在短程磁关联区域，缪子自旋弛豫率在低温出现幂律行为。通过与理论计算相结合，我们发现在该体系中很可能存在着二维的随机自旋单态。这一工作发表在Phys. Rev. Lett. 126, 037201 (2021)。

利用非弹性中子散射测量了KCa₂Fe₄As₄F₂单晶样品的低能磁激发，发现具有二维特性的中子自旋共振模。共振峰能量为16 meV，并在动量空间表现为非公度的朝下型色散关系，整体色散在超导总能隙之上。该结果表明在局域磁矩和巡游电子强烈耦合的多带超导体中，自旋激子的物理图像可能不再适用于描述自旋共振现象，非常规超导的统一微观机理亟待重新认识。这一工作发表在Phys. Rev. Lett. 125, 117002 (2020)。

利用非弹性中子散射测量了Co₃Sn₂S₂单晶样品的低能自旋波，并用唯象理论模型分析了其自旋相互作用和自旋波能隙的温度依赖关系等。 结果表明该体系具有中等程度的三维自旋关联效应，外尔费米子对自旋波色散和能隙有明显的影响。这为理解磁性拓扑材料提供了物理基础，并以此启发了该材料体系拓扑物态调控的可能思路。这一工作作为封面亮点文章发表在Sci. China-Phys. Mech. Astron. 64, 217062 (2021)。

结合弹性中子散射、非弹性中子散射、电阻、比热和强场测量等多种技术详细研究了Ba(Fe_0.97Cr_0.03)₂(As_1−xP_x)₂体系的量子临界行为。在该体系中，其超导电性被0.03的Cr掺杂完全一致，而类似于电阻线性依赖关系和有效电子质量增加等非费米液体行为仍然存在。我们证明在该体系中仅存在反铁磁量子临界点而不存在向列量子临界点。这表明铁基超导体中的非费米液体行为可以只由反铁磁量子临界涨落而导致。文章发表在Phys. Rev. Lett. 122, 037001 (2019)。

通过中子散射首次发现kagome材料Cu₄(OH)₆FBr的结构由室温的六角结构转变为低温的正交结构，并且首次给出了反铁磁磁结构，表明其磁矩主要来源于层间铜。结合磁化率、比热和XRD测量，给出了反铁磁序随Zn掺杂的演化，发现其体反铁磁序转变温度随掺杂下降，并在x=0.4处消失，而残余的层间铜可能存在着短程反铁磁序，其转变温度随掺杂几乎不变并一直延续到x>0.8的高掺杂区域。文章发表在Phys. Rev. B 98, 155127 (2018)

结合弹性中子散射、高精度x-射线、电阻和霍尔系数测量详细研究了BaFe_1.9−xNi_0.1Cr_xAs₂体系的磁有序，发现其反铁磁序结构一直到x=0.8掺杂处也未发生改变，且反铁磁转变温度基本不变。但是其有序磁矩先增加在减小，在x=0.5处达到最大值，与霍尔系数变号的掺杂浓度一致。这些结果表明有序磁矩和反铁磁转变温度可以在化学掺杂后不再直接关联。文章发表在Phys. Rev. B 98, 014512 (2018)。

通过非弹性中子散射对CaKFe₄As₄铁基超导体进行研究，我们成功发现其自旋共振模存在三个模式，分别位于三个不同的能量。两个能量较低的共振模在空间上是正弦平方调制的奇模，而另一个能量较高的共振模在空间上则是余弦平方调制的偶模。因此，铁基和铜基两个高温超导家族中的自旋共振现象本质上完全一致，即为超导态下spin-1的集体激发态，可以存在奇偶调制模，两者皆是自旋涨落驱动下的超导配对机制。该研究结果对理解高温超导微观机理具有非常重要的启示。文章发表在Phys. Rev. Lett. 120, 267003 (2018)
